The Comnet CNGE2FE8MSPOE+ is a rugged, managed Ethernet switch built for deployment in demanding outdoor and industrial environments. It provides IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (30W per port) across eight 10/100BASE-T(X) ports, with two additional gigabit combination RJ-45/SFP ports for uplink flexibility. Delivering up to 240 watts of total PoE power, the CNGE2FE8MSPOE+ supports a wide range of powered devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and sensors. All SFP slots are compatible with Comnet SFP modules, allowing for tailored fiber type, connector style, and transmission distance. To ensure uninterrupted performance, the switch supports advanced Ethernet redundancy protocols, including C-Ring (fast recovery <10ms across up to 250 units), ComRing, and MSTP/RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1s/w/D). This resilience protects applications from downtime by instantly rerouting traffic during network disruptions. Network management is supported through eConsole, a powerful, easy-to-use Windows utility, as well as web-based, telnet, and console (CLI) configurations. Designed to withstand harsh conditions, the CNGE2FE8MSPOE+ ensures reliable, secure operation in mission-critical ITS, security, and industrial networks.
